LOOM in Brussel
The LOOM project is the transformation of 3 existing buildings (Joseph II, Loi 44 and Loi 52) into a unique green lung in the heart of the European district in Brussels.
LOOM will be an innovative project of approximately 24,000 m² with office spaces, 48 residential units (coliving), a wide range of services and facilities and a beautiful inner garden.
This redevelopment will also apply the principles of the circular economy, preserving the existing structure of the buildings and recovering, reusing or recycling demolished or dismantled elements.
The project is called LOOM after the verb ‘to loom’ which means ‘to appear in an impressively great way or form’ and nature looms within every corner of this project.
The LOOM building will achieve BREEAM Outstanding & WELL Gold certification, so it will be ready for the future.
